Terms & Conditions


Every effort will be made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction on customer’s work but because of the nature of our printing processes, Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between the customer’s photograph, original, transparency or digitally supplied image & the printed article. Note that there is a distinct difference in print quality between digital printing and litho printing. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd cannot guarantee a like for like print in the event that the customer purchases print from both these different printing methods. Reprints may also differ in colour & texture in litho & digital printing. All our products are subject to availability. In the event that Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd are unable to supply the product, Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd shall notify the customer as soon as possible & shall reimburse payment in full if required.



Designs created by Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will be archived for 2 years. Note that any design created by Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will remain the property of Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd. Any design/artwork transfer to another printer/designer will carry a surcharge in addition to the original design cost. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd cannot guarantee or take any responsibility for not meeting customer’s timings on design. Any photographic/stock image purchases will remain in Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd’s archives & can be used in other future designs created by Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd.


Customers’ Responsibility

Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd is not responsible for ensuring customers’ design and artwork are correct for printing. This responsibility is with the customer and the person paying for the services. The customer should check and recheck any text, numbers and layouts to ensure the artwork is ok before confirming to proceed to print. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will not incur liability on errors that may appear on print as a result of the design being incorrect. The customer is liable to pay the full amount as quoted in these circumstances. It is the customer’s responsibility to gain approval to reproduce pictures, artwork, photos and logos. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd is not liable to any claim or any dispute between the customer and prosecutor as a result of this



Payments should be made in full at time of order. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd accept all major credit card payments and all payments are secure. Cash and Cheque payments are curently not accepted. 


Print Confirmation

Confirmation of the print order is subject to sight of artwork and full payment being received. This means Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will check the customer’s artwork to ensure the quote is in line with the print ready artwork. An email confirmation (status confirmed) will be emailed to confirm receipt of artwork and payment. This will be accompanied with an invoice. It is at this stage that Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd have accepted the order and is ready to proceed to print.



Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will deliver to UK mainland addresses using Fedex and Business Post, next day delivery. Goods despatched on Friday will be scheduled for delivery on Monday. Delivery can take place anytime between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday and will be charged at cost price.

  • Despatch will take place Monday to Friday. We will confirm a despatch date at the time of placing the order & full payment being received.
  • The customer should be available on the day of delivery. On some occasions when no one is available to accept the goods;

I. Delivery may be left with a neighbour – the delivering company will leave a note to confirm this.

II. Delivery may be taken back to the depot or local sorting office for the recipient to collect – the delivering company will leave a note to confirm this.

III. Any re-delivery will be charged at the original delivery charge rate.

  • Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will endeavour to meet deadlines however completion & delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Note that Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will not be liable or responsible for any delay in delivery caused by events outside our reasonable control. It is recommended that the customer leaves plenty of time for delivery to avoid disappointment. Events outside our control include; strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action. Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war. Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster. Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport. Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks. The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government. In these events, the contract between Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd & the client/recipient of goods will be deemed suspended.


Estimates are based on Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd current costs of production and quotes are applicable for 60 days. Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd reserve the right to change prices thereafter if production has not commenced. Charges will be applied with prior notification and agreement to work which is not supplied print ready.



Print and delivery is usually vatable. On most occasions flyers, leaflets, booklets & magazines are zero VAT rated. For further information, please visit www.hmrc.gov.uk


Privacy Policy

Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.


Quantity variation

We shall be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 5% plus or minus of the quantity of printed goods ordered and you will be charged at the contract rate for the quantity delivered.


Paper Quality

We cannot give guarantee of the paper quality of what has been printed in the past or samples which have been sent to you as we source from various paper mills and merchants who stock a large number of paper palates. Supplier to supplier’s paper may vary from paper’s smooth, rough, colour, grain etc.


Paper Grams (GSM)

We cannot give 100% guarantee of the paper grams (GSM) as we buy from paper merchants with certificate of paper grams. ( + – ) 5% variation of paper grams (GSM) can happen due to large volumes of paper purchased from different merchants.



The customer can cancel the order subject to the artwork not being processed to print production. Cancellation can also take place whilst in print production if being printed digitally. In this case, Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will refund the difference that has not been printed at Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd’s discretion


Returns Policy

Due to the nature of the printing business, Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd are unable to offer returns & refunds of unwanted print. Please see below for damaged & faulty goods.


Faulty Print

For damaged or faulty print Scunthorpe Instant Print Ltd will offer a reprint or a full refund as long as notification has been made within 24 hours of receiving print by email. Damaged or faulty print notifications must be accompanied with photographic evidence & a sample in the post which must be received within 5 working days. Please note any refunds associated to damaged or faulty print will be made in the form of the original payment within 14 days of confirming the refund
